Our next clinic will be on Sunday 9th October.
There will be two groups for building confidence sandwiched with a more technical group for the more advanced combinations with the same again in the afternoon.
6 groups all together.
Blue and Amy had a fantastic weekend at Hickstead for the Sunshine Tour Championships and managed to be placed in 3 out of the 4 classes they competed in.
A 10th place (out of 55) in the showjumping, a 6th in the Novice Dressage and 2nd in the Prelim Dressage and Reserve Champion.
The Dressage championship was mainly adults and Amy was the only Junior to be placed with their personal best score of 83% (which included 5 x 9's on the sheet!)
It was very well organised and great fun and we are hoping to get a group of qualifiers to go next year if anyone is up for it?
Keely held another series of clinics yesterday and we think everyone had a great time. The building confidence clinics were about achieving something new and feeling happier with your horse on the cross country course. Jumping a youngster for the first time, jumping slightly bigger, linking jumps together into a small course and gaining confidence in the open were some of the elements that were covered.
The more advanced sessions (80 - 1m) also included new jumps but with a focus on combinations, skinnies, downhill jumping and planned approaches.
The XC set up is perfect for schooling with jumps of different sizes being close together so riders at different levels can school together.
The course is available for schooling hire and instruction by Keely can also be arranged
